HALLELUJAH!! 🥳 I’ve finally done it. I’ve got the 36 strips I need for a funky project I wanted to make last year but couldn’t because of the b*****d glass! French Vanilla has been my absolute nemesis for the last few months. I’ve had to walk away from this glass and particular project numerous times because it wouldn’t break where I wanted it to and went off at horrible angles. I’ve wasted a lot of this glass due to bad breaks. I have lost my patience with it and taken my frustration out by smashing and crushing it up to make frit but I’ve done it at long last and I couldn’t be happier! Today has been a good day! Sometimes it’s the little wins that need to be celebrated. Check out this little guy 🐧 I had a good day yesterday and managed to fill both my big and little kilns so I could turn them on. I love how this little penguin has turned out so will be rolling him out ready for this years Christmas decoration. He will be joining Santa and the Snowmen. (Full disclosure I did open my big kiln and get a piece out before filming this as I needed to get it back in my smaller kiln to slump.
